Sh, Whishper, Day of the Dead, Christmas in...October???

Okay, so I'm going to start doing this thing where I put a kind-of subhead like thing. For example, I will chop up my post, like this:

Whisper

So, I did get a hamster for my birthday! He is a Winter White Dwarf hamster, and I named him "Whisper". My dad came up with the name. When I first got him, he bit me (a lot, about 4 times), but now he never bites me. Since I couldn't dress up a hamster for Halloween (or can I?), I bought him orange fluff, or stuffing, for his cage. I really do love him.  He's very cute. Here's a picture of a Winter White:

Day of the Dead

I've decided what I want for my costume this year: a Day of the Dead girl. They look like this:

Yeah...The makeup looks hard, but we'll find a way to do it.

Christmas in October

I like to do random projects just for fun. I decided to make a report about the origins of  Christmas. Here's what I got so far:

Christmas Traditions Origins

Where did Santa Claus come from?
First of all, Santa Claus is a warm-hearted character who supposedly delivers presents to boys and girls around the world. He wears a red suit and hat, has a long white beard, rosy cheeks, and flies from house to house by magical reindeer that fly. There are many different stories that make Santa Claus who he is today. One of the earliest Santa Claus stories was from the 4th century in Myra. There was a bishop, Saint Nicholas, who was known for being generous to the poor.  He threw coins through the window, and in some variations, a chimney, so that a father could pay his dowry for his daughter to get married. Children heard about Saint Nicholas, and decided to hang stockings in hope of him visiting. Soon, Europeans developed a holiday called “Saint Nicholas Day”, when people would exchange gifts. This holiday was merged with Christmas. Sinterklaas was a Dutch version of St. Nick. Sinterklaas had merged with Oden, the Pagan god of Yule who flew an eight-legged horse. The name “Sinterklaas” was Americanized into “Santa Claus”. Clement Clarke, a New Yorker, wrote “A Visit from Saint Nicholas” or more commonly known as “The Night before Christmas”. He portrayed Sinterklaas as a jolly elf with a pipe. He also gave him a bag of toys for all children. He also made him ride a sleigh pulled by reindeer, rather than horses. Although Clarke created a lot of the modern Santa, Thomas Nast tremendously helped, too. In 1862, a popular magazine, Harper’s Weekly, hired Nast to illustrate some Christmas images. He created some of the newest Santa features, such as the Naughty or Nice list, living in the North Pole, and a chubbier character. Retailers discovered the plump, happy Santa could be used to help advertise products. Santa Claus became more and more popular throughout the ages.

Pretty good so far, right? Heh, heh well that's all for today. Love you all, Bacons.

Hammiechok, Book Report, Birthdays

Hello, guys!

My birthday is coming up on Monday, August 12. So, I asked for a pet hamster. My dad is considering it, but he hates rodents. He thinks they're all sewer rats. :(
But if I get one, probably a boy, I would name him Hammiechok. Tell me in the comments some fun and cute hamster names! Also, tell me what hamster is the best or cutest. Here are a couple breeds:

SYRIAN
Syrians are a very calm breed.

ROBO (ROBOROVKI)

Robos are a bit skiddish buy small and adorable!

RUSSIAN

Pretty nice but might nip at you.

CHINESE

Chinese hamsters are aggressive to each other, but tiny and good.

Cute, right?

So, I have to read a book for school...but school starts on Friday...And today is Wednesday..And I'm on like chapter 5...And there's about 20 chapters...

My birthday is on Monday. What is the big deal about birthdays, anyways? I'm not saying its not fun...But really, what is it? Is it the excitement of finally getting a year closer to becoming an adult? Though some people do not want to age after they're 30... Is it the presents? The enthusiasm for opening gifts and getting new things to use? Because some people don't get presents. And is it...Attention? On your birthday, everyone is celebrating YOUR day that you entered the world. But some people don't have family...So it all depends on what luck you have, I suppose. Wouldn't there be someone who is broke, alone, and old? What do they feel like on their birthday? They don't get presents, attention, growth. Then there's people who ALWAYS get presents, a huge party, are still youthful, and everyone pays attention to them. What do they feel on their birthday compared to our poor person over here?
Let's name the broke old man...Jack. And the young girl who always gets presents...May.

What if May's family was broke, and she got no presents and 0 attention? She would devastated more than Jack. Because, Jack is used to this type of thing. May has grew up having everything.

And what if Jack and his family all of a sudden...Won the lottery for 15 million?  They threw him a big party and gave him presents. He would appreciate it WAY more than May.

Wow. What am I even doing anymore? I've gone too far. Is anyone still reading? (If you are, comment "Banana Pants").

Alright, well I better end this before we get in any deeper. Thanks to everyone who's visited my page! Tell two friends about my blog, and our site traffic will grow! Don't forget to follow & sign up for membership by clicking  HERE ! Bye!!

Dancing Next to Explosives, SCHOOL, and Crazy Hair!

HELLO!!! Guess what? My birthday's in exactly 1 week! I had a "party" with my friends on Friday. Only 2 people showed up... Here's some photos.

 Crazy flash of fireworks!

Very pretty sparkler.

Dancing like MANIACS by a firecracker.

Dancing again.

...and again.

The mini cake that I made.

 Silly Spray and creepy mustache.

It was loads of fun! I just wish my other friends could make it!

Also, school is starting this Friday. Yep. August 9. IT'S CRAZY! I'm not too nervous...I just hate..no that's mean...uh, do not enjoy the kids and staff and stuff there. And there's a wasp infestation. And I feel like I have ADD or ADHD or whatever it is called. Oh, well. Last year went quick. I'm going into 7th, by the way.

Hey. One more thing. I DYED MY HAIR.

Haha! Just kidding. It's called "Hair Chalk". It's very beautiful and it only cost me $10 at a local drug store! I LOVE THEM! You should take a look at them. And also, they come off when washed with shampoo!

FUN Beach Vacation, Tea Time, Being "Lazy"

Hello, guys! So, as you know from the last post, I went to the beach! It was great! So I thought I'd show you some pictures! Here ya' go!

 My cousin Pinky.

My cousin Mark getting married to Tamie!
It was at 6 am! BEAUTIFUL! View from our deck.

I also got this anklet. Supposedly, once it falls off, I get luck!

The trip was GREAT, but it felt too short. At least I got to go at all!

My friend, Emmy, invited me to a tea party yesterday. It was very fun, and brought back great memories.
Today, we, along with my other friends (Piper and Addie) went jogging early in the morning.
It really pooped me out. But it felt great to get moving. But, my friends weren't being
very encouraging. They were telling me to keep going, but if I went any farther I would've:
 A) Vomited
B)Passed out
C) Fall Over
I am NOT exaggerating. They also, later, complained that I kept on "stopping".
I  jogged and ran, then walked (because I was going to do A, B, or C). If you
are reading this, Emmy, Addie, or Piper, I'm sorry but you were kind of
making me feel terrible about what my fitness level is...
That's all I have for today

That's all I have for today, BaconBabies! Peace!

What to Pack Video, My Koala, Ya Need the Beach

Hello, guys! So, in my last post, I asked y'all if you wanted me to post a video on what to pack when you go to the beach. And none of you commented...(cue crickets chirping). So, I don't even know if I should at all. So here's a pros and cons list:

Pro: Will help get attention to my blog Con: But it could also not
Pro: Would be fun Con: Could be a waste of time
Pro: It will actually remind me of things to pack, next year Con: Or I could forget about it

Hm...Pros and Cons even out...

Oh well. I'll see if I have enough time.

So, one of the number one things I must take on trips is my koala teddy bear. Don't judge me...It reminds me of home, and it helps me feel not alone, and it's great to have someone to hug. BUT, I can't find her! That's the problem of having two houses (I'm not super rich, my parents are divorced): you lose things a lot. Oh, well.

I'm going to make a beach video of all the memories there, and hopefully I'll post it. YAY. My second cousin, Mark, is getting married. That's why we're going. Thank goodness, or else I wouldn't have been able to go to any beach at all. Sometimes you just need those calming waves. My dad might actually go to Ocean City, New Jersey. So, I'll ask if my friend, Addie, can come with us because she doesn't get to go to the beach this year.

I just want to remind you all: DON'T BE SHY! Comment, comment, comment! And I just added a  member thingy, so now its available to join me, BaconBlogger! I love all of you! Bye-bye!

Organized for the Beach, Fitness, and Monsters

Hello, everyone. It's BaconBlogger here! Guess what? THREE DAYS till the beach! Yip-Yippidy-Yee! (I don't even know) I'm very excited, and guess what...If you know me, I'm a sloppy, unorganized mess, but I've already made a list of things I'm going to bring. And I've also packed a couple of items. Should I make a video for you guys? On what to pack? Let me know in the comments below.

Aren't those horses adorable? They are at the shores of Outer Banks.
(Probably Corolla)

I also wanted to talk about Shayloss. Haven't heard of it? Shayloss is a channel created on youtube by Shay Butler, commonly known as Shaycarl (from the Shaytards). On his channel, it shows things to helo you loose weight. Just a day or two ago, Shay has started a 5 Week Challenge with his 18 year old brother, Logan. I decided to do it with them. But, since I'm a weak 7th grade female, I can't do the workouts. So, I've found exercises suitable for me. I encourage everyone reading to try it. You can watch some Shayloss videos here .

Recently I have been obsesssed with a game I found in my iPhone. It's called "My Singing Monsters". It may seem like it's for little kids, but it's interesting, creative, and a good way to spend time. How you play is that you start off with some monsters (about one to three), and they give you coins from time to time. The more coins you get, the more monsters, decorations, and upgrades you can buy. You can also breed your monsters to save money! Also, you can purchase other "worlds" for different styles of music. I saved enough money to buy the ice world. Some of my favorite monsters are:

 The "Spunge", it whistles.
The "Bowgart", it plays a strings instrument.
The "Quarrister", it sings a choir-like tune of "aahhs" and "oohhs"
And the "Furcorn", it sings a song that I can't type...but I'll try: Da da daaa da daaaa daaa, daa da da daa daa daaaaaaaa. Heh.

It's very interesting to listen to all these different sounds joining together into a song. But maybe I'm just weird.

Well, that's it, guys! :) I'll see you next time and I'll MAKE SURE to blog when I'm at the beach, wifi or not!

Asian Food, Smosh, and Beach (again)

Hello, Baconners. I came up with an AWESOME idea. You know how, now if you're asian, no offense anything, but some asian food can look pretty weird to Americans. I went to an asian supermarket and I saw these dried sardines in a little package, as if they were chips. It was kinda odd. Then, I saw a koala cookie thing. It looked yummy. So after that, I thought I could do an Asian Food Challenge or something. I've done two challenges, and they are on youtube. See them here: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrM_tRnVvs5qcSOq1N2824Q/videos . I may not've uploaded all of it yet, though.

I just recently found Smosh, the number 1 subscribed channel on YouTube. Their videos are actually pretty funny! :) Ok, just saying.

AND ALSO, I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO THE BEACH! YAY! OH, PS, HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER!

This is what the outer banks looks like (it's very...pushed out...not much people. I love it!):

BYE!!!
